Poetry and Paint is a BWA event which pairs poets and artists together to create. 6 poets and 6 artists, live poetry and live painting.

BWA are excited to announce a new event. Poetry and Paint is a unique event which pairs 6 poets and 6 artists together to create. The artists interperate poems by the poets to create new artwork using different mediums. Whilst the poets perform the artists create their artwork in real time.

The Event is curated by Black Womxn Artist Network, a non-profit organisation aiming to promote, celebrate, connect and support Black Women / Womxn identifying Artists by creating opportunities for black female identifying artists within the UK who often do not get to showcase their work and are often not celebrated and voices not heard.
